Now, facing the highly contagious OMICRON variant, we’re taking additional steps to get ahead of any potential outbreak. Our movers have a 100% vaccination rate and we’re adapting to the needs of our customers and official guidance so that you and your family can feel safe and protected on moving day.
Compliance with state and and federal law
Roadway Moving is continually monitoring both federal and state COVID policies and mandates in order to best protect our community of customers and movers. We adopt new laws and procedures set forth by New York State and United States governance – and modify our former policies as often as necessary. Enhanced Cleaning Protocol:
Our trucks are disinfected daily, and we do not currently use reusable bins or used boxes during our moves to eliminate germ and potential virus transfer.
Employees Health Checked Daily:
Employee temperatures and health are checked daily and any employee showing any symptoms is sent home immediately. We have established an internal COVID Task Force to ensure the entire company complies with safety protocols.
100% Vaccinated Movers:
Roadway has complied with the NYC mandate and is proud to say that every one of our employees has been vaccinated. Movers visiting homes will be equipped with hand sanitizers, masks, gloves, booties and disinfectant wipes. No need to hide in a closet while our team is in your home!
Virtual In-Home Estimates:
Our estimators can “virtually’ walk through your home or office with you. They’ll take a video of the items to be moved and provide you with a detailed, accurate estimate of all moving charges.
What do we mean by contactless movin? You don’t even have to be home when you move. Just leave instructions with your building, and we’ll communicate with you virtually during your move (like through FaceTime). You’ll also be able to track your truck and get notifications so you’ll know when your stuff arrives. And regardless of whether you plan to be present during the move, we offer virtual home surveys, electronic booking, cashless payment and electronic contracts.
